Brooks Falls, Katmai National Park, Alaska, USA

Katmai National Park is one of the world’s leading brown bear observatories. The population there is more than 2,000 brown bears. At Brooks Camp, the park’s most visited area, brown bears gather to catch red salmon along the Brooks River. Observation platforms along the river allow people who visit here to observe the bears without disturbing them or influencing their behavior. This webcam shows the Brook Falls and you can see lots of brown bears, expecially from June to September.

Big Bear Lake, California, USA

Wapusk National Park, Manitoba, Canada

The word “Wapusk” in the language of the Indian tribe Cree means “white bear” and these animals are the kings here. The park is one of the world’s major polar bear birthplaces. About half of the area is covered by peat bog. The layer is up to four meters thick and thus has ideal conditions for digging throw holes. From this webcam you can watch the polar bears.

Cape Fear, North Carolina, USA

Cape Fear is a headland off the Atlantic coast of the state of North Carolina, USA. The Cape is one of the shipping shores of the Frying Pan Shoals, part of the so-called Graveyard of the Atlantic. The front dunes on the Atlantic Ocean are overgrown with sea oats, which mix with the more stable dunes of the second row with other grasses, such as silt grass and switchgrass, as well as other herbs overgrowing the salt marshes. Various sea life can be observed on this webcam.
